Wisconsin Photography 2009 show opens at RAM

Racine Art Museum is host once again to the Wisconsin Photography 2009 show. The juror looked at over 700 images and chose 86 for the show. Wisconsin photographers submitted up to 10 images each on CD for his review.

I had one image in the show from my architectural series called Dawn at Bradford Beach. It's upstairs in a long room with other architectural, industrial images.

I liked the show, but couldn't pick out any one artist who I thought stood out from the pack. I was glad to see digital images in the show, and it gave me hope that more of my new images might be accepted into a future event. Eddee Daniels and Mary Ann Carter stick out in my mind for their digital contributions.

Go see the show at the Wustum. It is hanging until around Thanksgiving.
